Limited to 75 prints only
The S.S Maheno drifted ashore and was beached on the eastern side of Fraser Island on July 9, 1935, and has since become one of the major tourist attractions on 75 Mile Beach.
I returned several times to this location during my week stay on the island – waiting for the perfect conditions. Shooting at sun rise, just before the sun was visible on the horizon, was perfect as the colours were deep, and the light was nice and soft. I knew bright light would create too many shadows and highlights.
