Boab
9 comments“Wow! Thats some crazy trees. Would have been a crime not to take their picture ;) well done. ”
The Boab, easily recognized by the swollen base of its trunk, is commonly found in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, and also in the Northern Territory. This particular Boab stood out against the flat land behind it, and I knew it had to be photographed. I first arrived at this scene in the middle of a scorching hot day and decided to go set up camp and come back a bit later at sunset. I’m glad I did!
