“Colours of Cottesloe” (click on the image to view it larger)

Tony Middleton, a fellow landscape photographer of mine, has had his home broken into and all of his photography gear stolen, including several thousand dollars worth of camera equipment, and hard drives with over 10 YEARS WORTH of photographs, amongst a few other things. Unfortunately, Tony is not insured.

Ben from Team Digital has agreed to offer a good price to Tony on the gear he has lost. Mark Stothard has opened an account for donations. Email him at to make a donation.

I really feel for Tony, as I would be absolutely distraught if the same happened to me.

I am offering a hand signed and numbered 40” print of my latest limited edition release, “Colours of Cottesloe”, up for auction. 100% of the profit will go direct to Tony to help him get back on his feet and shooting again, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Bidding will start at $100. Please email me, or reply below with your bid. The highest bidder by the end of next week (Sunday 28th) will receive the print.

This will be a neat way for you to help out an amazing photographer, and add some colour to your home or workplace. Alternatively, you could purchase it as a gift for somebody as Christmas is only around the corner.

Good Karma will come your way!

Highest bid is currently at $150
and a donation of $15 has been made

Tanah Lot (Land In The Sea) Temple

Tanah Lot Temple - Land In The Sea

I have just been browsing through some of my older photographs and came across this one of Tanah Lot – a Balinese temple carved out of a natural rock formation in the ocean. In the Balinese language “Tanah Lot” means Land [in the] Sea. A very fitting name.

It is a beautiful place in the world, besides the hundreds of other tourists and the heavily commercialized and tourist orientated entrance to the area, and I’d love to get back there next time I’m in Bali to shoot some more photographs and enjoy a fantastic sunset once again.

I’ve been making some changes around the site, so please excuse the mess while I finish up.

Sunset, Cottesloe Beach

Cottesloe Beach at Sunset

After watching the sky all day, hoping that the clouds would stick around for sunset, I made the decision to head to Cottesloe Beach to take a photograph I had been wanting to shoot for some time. When I arrived at Cottesloe, the clouds were looking great, and I knew that I was going to witness a brilliant sunset.

I climbed up a few rocks to get to this vantage point and watched the light show begin. The sun disappeared over the horizon and the sky slowly lit up a nice pink colour. I was surprised to find that there weren’t too many people down at the beach on such a nice night.

I can’t wait to see this one printed!
