Through The Trees 10/3
I’ve always wanted to try a shot like this; a really simple photo of tree trunks with lots of small detail and nice colours. I’d never really found a nice place to shoot what I had in mind, until the other day.
It’s a 6 photo stitch on a heavily overcast day. It was raining lightly while I was setting up and shooting so I had to be fairly quick to not get any water drops on the lens.

For shooting through light rain, you’ve brought that up beautifully. The strokes of the trees coming down to the bushes below… The bark on the gum trees has great character in the detail with the wretched lantana providing that little touch of colour. Eucalypts are a photographers (and artists e.g. Hans Heyson) delight! Nice one!
Nice.
Nice even lighting Beau.

Thanks for taking the time to comment, Ian.
